LINE NEXT and Kaia to Launch Asia Stablecoin Superapp in 2025

LINE NEXT and KAIA have unveiled Project Unify, a stablecoin superapp set to revolutionize Asia's fragmented financial landscape. The platform, launching in beta later this year, will integrate payments, remittances, and decentralized finance services under a single umbrella.

Backed by LINE's 65 million-strong wallet ecosystem and Kaia's blockchain infrastructure, the superapp aims to bridge Asia's divided payment rails. It will operate within LINE Messenger and the Dapp Portal, offering access to over 100 decentralized applications.

The initiative includes three core components: a stablecoin orchestration LAYER for issuance and circulation, the Project Unify superapp, and K-STAR, a Korean won-pegged stablecoin solution. Users will benefit from real-time incentives and global transaction capabilities through integrated fiat on-ramps and off-ramps.
